Moving is often a big thing that people deal with and that’s true regardless of if you’re disabled or not but being able to move and dealing with a large variety of obstacles can be frustrating. Sometimes it’s even more frustrating when you’re trying to decide between driving 1000 miles in a U-Haul truck by yourself or ask a friend to do the driving for you.
There are other options other than packing up your truck and then driving 1000 miles yourself. This doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll end up allowing strangers to pack up a truck and move your stuff. Not everybody wants strangers packing up their stuff and not “handling with care” like the box says!
No matter how well you pay somebody to pack your things, there’s an infamous quote that has often been said, “If you want something done right, you got to do it yourself.” In short, this just means you’d end up packing up and moving the truck yourself because there’s no other way.
That’s not true, there are other ways to move other than having to do polar opposites of the spectrum If the choices were clear, people would probably do the choice presented to them to save money and to have the security to know their things are safe. freight forwarding
Being a disabled person can often hinder into the possibilities that you may have for moving but as long as you have friends and family helping you move, the chances of a successful move increases! The option that is being presented today is you pack, they move. What this means is you’d call a moving company and ask them to drop off a truck. They’d give you three days to pack up the truck, which is a generous time span, and then when you’re all done, they’ll pick it up and deliver it to your destination.
There’s no reason why this should cost much more money than rental truck where you drive and move everything because you are doing all the packing and they’re providing the equipment and driving the stuff to your final destination. Some examples of this sort of option would be POD and ABF. Those two moving companies give you options and when others don’t! Don’t let anything hinder into your choices of how to move and get moving!
